Buying tires online has gotten easier than walking into a shop and picking from whatever is sitting on the rack. Tire Rack lets you compare sizes, ratings and prices from your couch, and Flathead Mobile Tire is an independent installer in that network, which means the last step, getting the tires actually mounted on your vehicle, does not have to mean another trip anywhere. We bring your order to you and do the install in your driveway.
How it works with a Tire Rack order
You pick your tires on Tire Rack, order them, and get them routed to us instead of your own address. Once they arrive, you book an install time and we bring your rolling install kit right to your driveway or parking lot. No renting a bay, no hauling four tires into a shop yourself, no second appointment. Install starts at $119.99.
If you already have tires
Not everyone is ordering fresh off Tire Rack. If you already have a set, whether they came from another retailer or you are moving a spare set from a different vehicle, we can mount and install those too. The process is the same either way, we come to you and do the work on site.
What the install actually covers
A proper install is more than bolting a wheel on. We mount the tire, seat the bead, torque the lug nuts to spec, and balance every wheel on the Hunter SmartWeight Elite as part of the job, not as an add-on. TPMS sensors get checked and reset if your vehicle has them, since a new tire can trigger a light if the system is not addressed. Why mobile installation makes sense in the Flathead Valley
A lot of the valley is a drive to get anywhere, whether you are coming off Highway 35 in Bigfork or down from Big Mountain in Whitefish. Adding a shop trip on top of already ordering tires online defeats a lot of the convenience of ordering online in the first place.
